The R&D partner of companies
To help companies with their innovation processes, 9 of the most prestigious French engineering schools (Mines Paris-PSL, 5 Écoles des Mines integrated with the IMT, École Polytechnique, ENSTA Paris and Clermont Auvergne INP) federated their research laboratories within Carnot M.I.N.E.S, a structure dedicated to partnership research with companies. These laboratories, including numerous CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research) Joint Research Units, rely on the ARMINES association to develop their contract-based research studies.
Thanks to its academic excellence and its ability to bring concrete solutions to companies, Carnot M.I.N.E.S stands out for its territorial anchoring and its multidisciplinary.

Innovation at the service of companies
Carnot M.I.N.E.S created in 2016 a service «Support for Innovation and Development» in order to facilitate companie’s access to R&D resources. This one-stop shop for companies offers operational contacts to provide solution to their R&D needs and to benefit from financial engineering advice for the setting up of their projects. This service, which is particularly appropriate for VSEs, SMEs and midcaps that are new to research, regularly organizes industrial days and thematic workshops to meet the needs of manufacturers with research laboratory demonstrators and proofs of concept.
